Turn off Rhody Drive at the sign shown below, enter HJ Carroll park and keep to the right, follow the driveway around to the right to the rear of the parking area. Look for the picnic shelter building and garden beds. There is plenty of free parking.

Want to visit by bus? Take Jefferson Transit bus #6 from the Port Townsend Park & Ride, at 5 minutes after the hour (all day) You’ll get to the park at 37 minutes after the hour.
Likewise, you can return to PT at 37 minutes after the hour.
