WORK PARTIES:
EVERY WEDNESDAY between 10 am and 2 pm. APRIL through OCTOBER.
Just come to HJ Carroll Park to the kitchen shelter on the far right hand side. We’ll be there!
What are the jobs? Deadheading, weeding, planting and mulching mainly. But sometimes we are digging up starts for the nursery or cutting dead branches in the Forest so passersby can see the creek. Or raking the ground to tidyness, or watering some newly planted specimens.
Bring water, gloves and a favorite weeding tool.
DEMONSTRATIONS:
On every last Wednesday, there will be a short Plant Demo at 2pm and we will open our native plant nursery afterwards.
Volunteers working that day get 50% off.
