Sorbus sitchensis – Sitka Mountain Ash

A small deciduous tree to 20′.  Alternate leaves divided into 7- 11 bluish green serrated leaflets with rounded tips.

Clusters of small white flowers form red, berry like fruit that are tart and often eaten by birds.

Found mainly in coniferous forest clearings. Sun to part shade.
