Campanula rotundifolia – Bluebell

A perennial 6-8″ tall, from taproot and slender rhizomes.
The basal leaves are heart shaped. Narrower lance shaped leaves and bell shaped purplish-blue flowers on thin wiry stalks.
Found on grassy slpes and rocky open ground from sea level to sub-alpine elevations.
Native throughout much of the U.S.
