Holodiscus discolor – Oceanspray (DAMP)

An erect deciduous shrub with several arching stems to 12′ tall.

Dull green, egg shaped, lobed or toothed leaves. Large clusters of foamy white flowers in pyramidal terminal clusters that dry and remain over winter.
Found in dry to moist open sites. Native to western U.S. states plus British Columbia.
