22 people braved the unusual cold dip of May 1st to attend our Native Plant Appreciation Week presentation by Dennis Burk on beneficial micorrhizae:
“Talk Fungi to Me”.

Linda Landkammer, our Designer-In Chief, extended a welcome to all and a brief summary on the history and progress at Kul Kah Han’s Garden.
Then, everyone listened intently as Dennis delivered a comprehensive presentation on the fascinating behavior of this root fungus and how it can assist our ailing plants during times they are not able to access enough nutrients or water.  After the talk, we offered a sale of native plants and fungus. Refreshments were served and some stayed on for a short tour of the Demonstration Garden.
